Memory Day at the Missouri State Capitol – Turn Jefferson City Purple!

Join us in Jefferson City for
Memory Day on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, as we come together to make Alzheimer’s and dementia a priority in Missouri. This is more than just a day—it’s a movement to Turn the Capitol Purple!

What to Expect:

  • Engage: Connect with policymakers and fellow advocates dedicated to making a difference.
  • Learn: Join a morning education and training session to prepare for meetings with elected officials. Gain insight into the Alzheimer’s Association’s legislative priorities for 2025 and key issues affecting families across Missouri.
  • Act: Meet with your elected officials at the Capitol to ask for their support of policy priorities that help those living with dementia and their caregivers.

Additional Information:

  • Lunch Provided: Lunches include a sandwich, chips, cookie, and water. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Transportation: We are offering transportation from the Saint Louis area to Jefferson City. Pick up will be at the Galleria Mall (1155 St Louis Galleria St, St. Louis, MO 63117) and the bus will be leaving at 6:30am. Be sure to indicate if you’d like to reserve a spot on our bus as space is limited. If you indicate you'd like to be on the bus, we will follow up again with all details closer to the event.
  • Event Updates: Opt into emails to receive time, location, pre-event training, and general event updates. Updates will also be posted on this page.
